Lectotype (Reduron in Snogerup & Snogerup in Willdenowia 31: 264. 2001): Herb. Linn. No. 116.13 ( S) .

Current name: Bupleurum tenuissimum L. View in CoL ( Apiaceae ).

Note: Stearn (in Geck & Pressler, Festschr. Claus Nissen: 631. 1974), regards this as an orthographic error for B. tenuissimum L. (1753) , with which B. tenuifolium is therefore homotypic.
