Specimens examined. PENINSULAR MALAYSIA: Johor State: PFR • 1♁; Panti Barat ; N1.80984, E103.85195, 51.7± 7.3 m.a.s.l.; 17 August 2023, 20h25; under the foliage of a small tree; coll. M. K. Tan, Amira A. Muhammad & N. Ashikin Abdullah; PANTI.23.24 (ZRC)

Remarks. This species appears widespread, ranging from Sumatra, Thai-Peninsula and Malay Peninsula. The first record of this species in Johor is not surprising, since it has previously been reported in Singapore and northern parts of Peninsular Malaysia.

Ecology. This species appears to be more widely distributed but is usually rather rare and low in abundance ( Tan, 2011; Tan et al., 2019). The rarity of this species is also observed in PFR.

Type locality. PENINSULAR MALAYSIA: Pahang State: Taman Negara National Park, near village Kuala Tahan on Tembeling River

Distribution. INDONESIA (Sumatra: Aceh and North Sumatra Provinces); PENINSULAR MALAYSIA (Johor State: PFR) [new]; Pahang State; Penang Island) SINGAPORE; THAILAND (Nakhon Si Thammarat and Phangnga Provinces)
