Limnellia maculipennis Malloch

Limnellia maculipennis, Malloch, 1925: 332 [ Australia. New South Wales: Sydney].

Diagnosis. Palpi black; legs black except fore tarsomeres 1–2 yellow; wings with three distinct white markings in R1 cell ( Fig. 7 ); halters black. Surstyli small, nearly three times as long as wide ( Fig. 8 ); aedeagus with a posterodorsal process ( Fig. 9 ); phallapodeme as a slender process attached to posterodorsal portion of aedeagus ( Fig. 9 ).

Material studied. 13, China, Yunnan, Honghe, Nanxizhen, 23°21'N, 102°24'E, 16.V.2006, Junhua Zhang leg.

Distribution. China (Yunnan); Australia.
