Note.
This adventive Palaearctic species was known in Canada only from Ontario ( Bright and Bouchard 2008). Also known as the alfalfa snout beetle this species is a major pest of alfalfa.
Specimen data.
Quebec: MRC Beauharnois-Salaberry, Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, 13.vi.2012, on grasses under Salix , Populus and Vitis riparia , Y. Racine (1, CPTO).
