Se documenta para Galicia Pyrus cordata como planta nutricia de una mariposa que en la Península utiliza en fase larvaria varias rosáceas, pero principalmente Prunus spinosa L. y Crataegus monogyna Jacq. (García Barros et al., 2013) .
