Comments: The specimen (MLP 1870/1) labeled as “ Type ” must be considered as HOLOTYPE (ICZN, art. 73.1.1). Despite the fact that the original publication mentions only three males from Argentina (Buenos Aires and Entre Rios), seven males PARATYPES were labeled with the same data, so it cannot be stated which specimens were used by Porter to describe the species.
