Vernacular Names: Remy's Pygmy Shrew.
Distribution: Rain forest in Gabon, Central African Republic, Republic of Congo.
Conservation: IUCN – Critically Endangered (not justified).
Discussion: One of the smallest shrews. Genetically related to S. infinitesimus (Querouil et al., 2001) .
