gramuntii Planchon 1864: 24 , Coccus

Fernald (1903: 69) suggested that this species was identical to Gossyparia spuria (Modeer) , but Herbert (1924: 3) synonymised the name with Coccus spurius . Current status: Miller & Gimpel (2000: 341) listed Coccus gramuntii as a junior synonym of Eriococcus spurius (Modeer) (Family Eriococcidae ).
