fagi Walker, 1852: 1086 , Coccus
Current status: This name is a secondary junior homonym of Coccus fagi Sulzer and Coccus fagi Baerensprung. Walker’s name is a junior synonym of Coccus fagi Baerensprung and was replaced by Cryptococcus fagisuga Lindinger. Coccus fagi Walker was not synonymised by Lindinger (1936) as indicated by Miller & Gimpel (2000). Hardy (1868: 36), when listing Coccus fagi , referred to Walker’s name.
