In the text, Boas (1906) discussed the species Coccus (Dactylopius) adonidum and longifilis but in the legend of the accompanying illustration he gave Coccus (Dactylopius) longifilis . Current status: the species is obviously Pseudococcus longispinus (Targioni Tozzetti) (Family Pseudococcidae ).
