Current status: Goeze cited Réaumur (1738, IV, t.2. f.. 4, 5). This trinomen with the same reference to Réaumur was listed under Eulecanium prunastri (Boyer de Fonscolombe) by Fernald (1903: 193) and we here place Coccus persicae rotundus Goeze with Eulecanium prunastri (Boyer de Fonscolombe) also.
