Munro & Fouché (1936: 85) listed this combination. Current status: De Lotto (1957: 301) treated this name as a junior synonym of Coccus longulus (Douglas) . Lindinger (1928: 107) introduced the replacement name Lecanium krauhniarum Lindinger for the primary junior homonym Lecanium wistariae Brain of Lecanium wistariae Signoret, 1874 .
