Epibdella steingroeveri Cohn, 1916 ; Entobdella hippoglossi View in CoL of Klassen et al. 1989]; Entobdella sp. on ‘righteye flounder’ (identity of fish uncertain) at Sydney Inlet, British Columbia ( Hoskins et al. 1976).

Comments. The diagnosis of Entobdella was emended by Kearn & Whittington (2005). Detailed reasons for the changes in species composition of Entobdella were provided earlier. Impetus for this study came from the investigation by Kearn & Whittington (2005) in which former Entobdella species from elasmobranch rays were transferred to Neoentobdella . During this investigation it became apparent that the various synonymies proposed by Klassen et al. (1989) were in need of reassessment. The following redescriptions and descriptions attempt to clarify the species composition of Entobdella .
