Note.

This adventive Palaearctic species is associated with Leucanthemum vulgare (L.) ( Asteraceae ) and may help control this invasive weed. This weevil was accidentally introduced into North America, and has been present in Ontario since 1971, or earlier ( Anderson and Korotyaev 2004).
