Vernacular Names: Tama Small-eared Shrew.
Distribution: Montane forest and pasture margins in the Tamá highlands, W Venezuela, and adjacent highlands in Colombia between 2385 and 3329 m.
Discussion: C. thomasi group; most similar to meridensis and thomasi (Woodman, 2002) .
