Lectotype (Hartvig in Strid & Kit Tan, Fl. Hellenica 1: 231. 1997): Herb. Linn. No. 312.2 ( LINN) .

Current name: Herniaria hirsuta L. ( Caryophyllaceae ).

Note: Chaudhri (in Pakistan Syst. 1(2): 30. 1977) indicated unseen Bauhin material in BAS as the holotype. However, this collection was not seen by Linnaeus and is not original material for the name.
