Type material of Myrmarachne jianfenglin (examined). Holotype ♀ (coll. no. Yu10), CHINA: Hainan Island , Jianfenglin, Yulingu , 31.III–1.IV.2011, leg. A. T. Barrion et al.

Description and diagnosis. See Barrion et al. (2013) for the original description of the female, whose habitus and epigyne are depicted here in Figs 10 and 9 , respectively. This species is similar to Myrmarachne liui Wang & Li, 2021 , but can be distinguished from it by the epigynal hoods that are fused (vs. separated by half their minimum width in M. liui ) and the chelicerae with four promarginal and eight retromarginal teeth (vs. seven promarginal and nine retromarginal teeth) (see Wang & Li 2021).

Distribution. China (Hainan).
