Type material of Speocera rjacksoni (examined). Holotype ♀ (coll. no. S0 77), CHINA: Hainan Island , Panja Town, Songtao Reservoir , 3.IV.2011, leg. A. T. Barrion et al.
Description and diagnosis. See Tong and Li (2011) for a description and diagnosis of both sexes. Distribution. China (Hainan). Comments. The type material of Speocera rjacksoni was examined and its somatic and genitalic morphology is consistent with Orchestina clavulata , which was also described from Hainan ( Tong & Li 2011). Thus, we consider S. rjacksoni syn. nov. to be a junior synonym of O. clavulata .
