Description of Gracilibacillus massiliensis CAU 1626
Cells are Gram-staining-positive, flagellated and rod-shaped. Colonies are circular, convex, smooth, transparent and white-colored after 3-5 days of incubation on MA at 30℃. Negative reactions are obtained for nitrate reduction, indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease and gelatinase in API 20NE. Does not utilize L- arabinose, D- mannose, D- mannitol, capric acid, adipic acid, malic acid, trisodium citrate and phenylacetic acid.
