Specimens in the FSCA were collected in Guatemala, Petén at the Tikal Ruins . Specimens in the SDMC were collected at Honduras, Atlántida, El Pino, Morrañas Arriba , 12-VIII-1979 and specimens in the UGCA were collected at Honduras, Olancho, Dulce Mombre de Culmi, Montaña de Malacate , 26-VII-2001 and 11-VI-2003.
The species is described from Central America ( Metcalf 1963a).
