Current name: Volutaria lippii (L.) Cass View in CoL , ex Maire ( Asteraceae ).

Note: Although Jeffrey (in Kew Bull. 22: 133. 1968) indicated Herb. Linn. 1030.4 ( LINN) as the holotype, the sheet is not annotated with the Species Plantarum number (i.e. “4”), was a later addition to the herbarium and is not original material for the name. With the existence of other original material (the Isnard illustration), Jeffrey’s statement cannot be treated as correctable to a neotypification (Art. 9.8).
