DISTRIBUTION: Botswana, Burundi, Cabo Verde, Comoros, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gambia, Kenya, Lesotho, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Nigeria, Oman, Réunion, Saint Helena _ Ascension and Tristan da Cunha, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: ‘Lusaka’, in Lusaka Province.

LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include species from the families Asteraceae ( Artemisia afra Jacq. ex Willd. , Erigeron sumatrensis Retz. , Callistephus chinensis Nees , C. chinensis Nees , and Commidendrum robustum (Roxb.) DC. ) Lamiaceae ( Syncolostemon densiflorus Benth. ) and Solanaceae ( Solanum mauritianum Scop. and S. crinitum Lam. ).
