DISTRIBUTION: Australia, Botswana, Cameroon, Cook Islands, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Fiji, French Polynesia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Hawaii, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Kenya, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, New Zealand, Namibia , Nigeria, Pakistan, Republic of Congo, Russia, Seychelles; Somalia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Lusaka , in Lusaka Province; Mpika, in Muchinga Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include four Ebenaceaespecies (i.e. Diospyros pallens (Thunb.) F.White, D. villosa (L.) De Winter, D. dichrophylla (Gand.) De Winter and D. lycioides Desf. ), a yet to be identified Sapota sp. (Sapotaceae) and Royena sp. (Ebenaceae) ( African Moths 2019).
