COMMON NAME (S): Hawk moth, Sphinx moth or Hornworm. SYNONYM(S): None. IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE). DISTRIBUTION: Cameroon, Central African Republic, Côte d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Gambia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Republic of Congo, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia. LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Lusaka, in Lusaka Province; Ndola, in Copperbelt Province. LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): One Rubiaceae species ( Psychotria sp. ) and one Hypericaceae species ( Harungana madagascariensis

Lam. ex Poir.) are reported as host plants of the taxon in unnamed African countries ( MacNulty 1970).

The African Moths (2019) webpage indicated that one Rubiaceae species ( Psychotria sp. ) and one
