COMMON NAME (S): Lesser Brown Striped Hawkmoth.

DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Gabon, Kenya, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Lusaka and Kafue, in Lusaka Province; Choma, in Southern Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include one Malvaceae species ( Gossypium sp. ) and one Asteraceae species ( Vernonia sp. ) ( MacNulty 1970; African Moths 2019).
