COMMON NAME (S): Twin Line Emperor. SYNONYM(S): None.
IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE).
DISTRIBUTION: Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia. LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Kafue, in Lusaka Province; Kopa, in Muchinga Province. LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Host plants include one Arecaceae species ( Borassus aethiopum Mart. ) in the Democratic Republic of Congo and another ( Hyphaene petersiana Klotzsch ex Mart. ) in an unnamed country elsewhere in
Africa. In addition to this, the African Moths (2019) website lists thre other Arecaceae species namely,
Hyphaene coriacea Gaertn. , H. crinita Gaertn. and Hyphaene thebaica (L.) Mart., as larval foodplants of the taxon.
