Vernacular Names: Basilan Flying Squirrel.
Distribution: Basilan Island, Philippines.
Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Discussion: Smaller than Petinomys mindanensis , with flattened tail. Paratype of mindanensis is probably not P. crinitus as previously thought, but a distinct species of Petinomys ; see below.
