Type locality. Germany (“Habitat in Germania Dr. Schulz Hamburgus”). Material examined. S & TL coll. 2 specimens.

Identity. Phiaris schulziana (Fabricius) ( Olethreutinae , Olethreutini ) ( Pierce and Metcalfe 1922). Remarks. This is one of the most characteristic Fabrician Tortricidae , and it is well known in the literature (e.g., Brown 2005).
