Type locality. Germany, Kiel (“Habitat Chilonii Quercu Dom. Lund. Norwagus Botanicus eximius & Entomologicus oculatus”).

Material examined. Kiel coll. 3 syntypes. S & TL coll. 1 lectotype + 1 syntype.

Identity. Ancylis badiana ( Denis and Schiffermüller, 1775) (Olethreutinae, Emarmoniini) . Remarks. This species presumably was described in synonymy with Tortrix badiana D. and S. and was referred to by Fabricius (1787) as “ Phalaena badiana Wien. Verz. 126: 8?”. Huemer and Tarmann (1997) designtated a lectotype for P. lundana .
