Type locality. England (“Habitat in Anglia Dom. Francillon”).

Material examined. None.

Identity. Strophedra nitidana (Fabricius) ( Olethreutinae , Grapholitini ) (Herrich-Schäffer 1853). Remarks. This is the type species of Strophedra Herrich-Schäffer, 1853 , by original designation.
