Type locality. Sweden (“Habitat in Suecia Abiete Dom. de Paykull”).

Material examined. Kiel coll. 1 lectotype + 1 specimen.

Identity. Pseudohermenias abietana (Fabricius) ( Olethreutinae , Eucosmini ) ( Karsholt and Nielsen 1976). Remarks. The lectotype was designated by Karsholt and Nielsen (1976).
