Type locality. Switzerland (“Habitat in Heluetiae Salice caprea Mus. D. de Clairville”). Material examined. None.
Identity. Epinotia caprana (Fabricius) ( Olethreutinae , Eucosmini ) (Razowski 1996). Remarks. This species was formerly known in literature as Epinotia semifuscana ( Stephens, 1834) .
