Type locality. England (“Habitat in Anglia. Mus. Banks”).

Material examined. S & TL coll. 1 specimen.

Identity. Pammene aurana (Fabricius) ( Olethreutinae , Grapholitini ) ( Pierce and Metcalfe 1922).

Remarks. The type should be searched for in the Bankes collection in BMNH. Regardless, the identity and nomenclature of this species has remained stable in the literature.
