Material examined. Bhutan: Pedong , 1.i.–31.xii.1900, coll. R. Oberthür— 1 male (holotype) (Paris, MNHN-EO- ENSIF1147) .
Diagnosis. Face medium brown; a spot at fastigium verticis, antennal scrobae, and two rings at scapus black. Pronotum with black rim; abdominal tergites dorsally black. Strongly brachypterous, tegmen hardly overlapping in midline, reaching to second abdominal tergite in male, with subparallel veins. Male ninth abdominal tergite in dorsal view convex ( Fig. 70D View FIGURE 70 ). Male abdominal apex with rather short and curved, acute projections from below ninth abdominal tergite, probably from tenth tergite ( Figs. 70 View FIGURE 70 F–G). Male subgenital plate with bilobate apex and small styli ( Fig. 70E View FIGURE 70 ). Female unknown.
Measurements after Griffini (1912c) (1 male).—body w/o wings: 18.7; pronotum: 4; tegmen: 5.1; hind femur: 12.7 mm.
