Material examined. Indes orientalis, coll. P. Castets— 1 male (syntype) (Paris MNHN).

Diagnosis. Pronotum short; tegmen lobate ( Fig. 75N View FIGURE 75 ). Male ninth abdominal tergite apically truncate, little curved down, with a short medial flap ( Figs. 75L, O View FIGURE 75 ). Tenth abdominal tergite forming a pair of large plates covering abdomen from behind ( Figs. 75 View FIGURE 75 L–M). Male subgenital plate wider than long, apical margin faintly bilobate; styli inserted laterally, little curved and largely surpassing tip of subgenital plate ( Fig. 75M View FIGURE 75 ). The female was redescribed by Griffini (1913b).

Measurements after Bolívar (1900) (1 male).—body w/o wings: 14; pronotum: 3; hind femur: 6.5 mm.
