Stem up to 55 cm. Spike elongate, lax, 3- to 10-flowered. Bracts much exceeding flowers. Outer median perianth-segments directed upwards. Labellum with middle lobe 9-11 mm wide.

Throughout the range of the species except for parts of the south-east.
