18. Lepraria neglecta (Nyl.) Erichsen
According to Kukwa & Flakus (2009), thallus leprose, granular, margin delimited, obscure minute lobes present; medulla present, inconspicuous, white; hypothallus poorly developed, grey to brown; rarely small patches with exposed medulla present; soredia abundant, coarse, typically 100–150 μm diam.; projecting hyphae absent; consoredia frequent, upto 300 μm.
Chemistry: Alectorialic acid, roccellic/angardianic acid and rangiformic acid in traces. K− or + yellow, C− or + reddish orange, KC+ pink or reddish orange, Pd+ yellow to orange.
Ecology and Distribution: This species widely growing over rock, mosses and some time on soil. Previously this species reported from Australia, Brazil, Great Britain, Greenland, New Zealand, Antarctica, North America.
Singh & Sinha (2010) listed this species from Western Himalaya in India.
