Culexfowleri, d'Emmerez de Charmoy , Ann. Trop. Med. ii, p. 25 8 (1908).
Mr. H. F. Carter informs me that he has examined a male of C. fawleri from Mauritius, and established its identity with 0. nigeriensis , which was already suggested by the author's allusion to the two pale spots on the sixth abdominal tergite of the female.
A female in the Paris Museum from Madagascar may be either this species or O. fryeri, Theo.
