Eotetranychus coryli Reck, 1950 View in CoL
Eotetranychus coryli View in CoL was reported from several locations in mainland Portugal in 1966 ( Carmona 1966), this being one of the first reports in Europe. Its main host is Corylus avellana View in CoL ( Carmona 1966 ; Carmona and Dias 1980), although it has also been collected on Castanea sativa View in CoL , M. sylvestris View in CoL and Prunus domestica View in CoL in north-eastern Portugal ( Carmona 1966), the last two plant species being new hosts for this mite ( Table 1). Present in the INIAV collection.
