New record for Greece. Three specimens, Elafonisi, Crete, 35°16'20.7"N, 23°32'15.9"E, 1 m depth, fine sand, collected in the framework of the MEDCORE project (unpublished data from Papageorgiou et al. 2006). Literature used for identification: Cognetti (1955), San Martín (2003). Type locality: Mediterranean (Gulf of Naples).
