Remarks
A black species with dark grey microtomentum ( Fig. 64 View Fig ) that is known only from the type series. It is similar to several dark species but mostly to A. claridgei and A. creperum . In the male, it differs in the shape of the pregenital sternite ( Ebejer 1998: 213, fig. 40) and in the hypopygium ( Ebejer 1998: 213, fig 39) where the pregonite is pale, narrow and elongate, and the apex of the epiphallus is pointed. The species can sometimes be identified in the male if the hypopygium is sufficiently exposed ( Fig. 65 View Fig ).
