Citations from Edough (as F. ladeiroi Gama, 1959 ): Hamra-Kroua & Deharveng (2010: 62); Brahim-Bounab et al. (2014: 41, 2017: 967); Hamra-Kroua (2016: 85); Brahim-Bounab (2017: 84).
Citations from Algeria outside Edough: Brahim-Bounab et al. (2014: 41, 2017: 967 as F. ladeiroi ); Brahim-Bounab (2017: 84 as F. ladeiroi ); Zoughailech (2017: 135 as F. ladeiroi ); Bendjaballah (2020: 81).
Distribution: Europe ( Deharveng 2013); Central America records need confirmation.
Remark. The species F. afurcata and F. ladeiroi are extremely similar. Specimens recorded as F. ladeiroi from the Collo massif were re-assigned to F. afurcata after careful re-examination ( Bendjaballah et al. 2018). It is likely that it is this species which is widespread in Edough as well, rather than F. ladeiroi .
