Examined material. VALLE DEL CAUCA. PNN Los Farallones de Cali, Anchicayá, 3°26´N, 76°48´W, 730m, malaise, 9 may-18 jul 2000, S. Sarria, M1099 / IAvH-E 151705 (1m, IAvH-E); Alto Anchicayá, 900m, 2-16 jun 2001, S. Sarria (4m, ICN); 3°26´N, 76°48´W, 650m, 9 may-18 jul 2000, S. Sarria (1m, 1f, ICN).
Comments. New record for South America. The genus has two species described from Central America ( Rolston 1992). This species has been recorded for Costa Rica ( Ruckes 1959).
