Notes

Added by Shaw (2007); Nixon’s ( Nixon 1974) arctica encompassed two species that occur in Britain, astrarches and tenebrosa. It is not clear which, if either, the name arctica is associated with. The name astrarches was placed, erroneosly, in synonymy with arctica by Nixon (1974), which was followed by Huddleston (1978). Shaw (2007) clarified the status of tenebrosa.
