Notes.

Amorimia comprises 15 currently accepted species (eight threatened species; Suppl. material 1) of lianas endemic to rainforests, savannas, and seasonally dry tropical forests of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, and Peru, South America ( POWO 2024).
