Subfamily CAMIARINAE Jeannel View in CoL
Camiarinae Jeannel, 1911: 192 View in CoL (in key, not stated as taxonomic novelty) [stem: Camiar -]; sensu Newton, 1998: 72. Type genus: Camiarus Sharp. View in CoL
Distribution: Southern Neotropical, Australia, New Zealand.
Note: Jeannel, 1957 explains he examined and described specimens from Germain collection in MNNC, with labels with names proposed by Germain, not necessarily followed by Jeannel. Jeannel, 1957 and 1962 refers to these names as either “nomen nudum” or “in litt.”, but we will not add these comments to the synonymic list.
