12 (redescription). Holotype male [a single specimen in original description, assumed as holotype] in BMNH.
Type locality: Lago Correntoso, Río Negro Province, Argentina.
Distribution: Argentina: Neuquén (AFN, personal data) and Río Negro (also kaszabi) Provinces; Chile: Aisén (AFN, personal data), Cautín, Chiloé (AFN, personal data), Concepción, Malleco (AFN, personal data), Ñuble, Osorno (AFN, personal data), and Valdivia (AFN, personal data) Provinces.
= Tricholoma kaszabi Hlisnikovský, 1964b: 309 View in CoL ; Szymczakowski, 1976: 424 (stating that this species is a probable junior synonym of R. ocellifer View in CoL ); Newton, 1998: 75, 169 syn. (holotype seen). Holotype male in HNHM. Type locality: El Bolsón, Río Negro Province, Argentina.
