? Holotype female [Note: Sex not given in original description, which reads male unknown; we interpreted one of the 5 females was considered the holotype] in MNNC.
Type locality: Río Murta, at the NW extreme of Lake Buenos Aires, 46º28’ S, Aisén Province, Chile.
Distribution: Argentina: Río Negro Province; Chile: Aisén, Cautín, Chiloé, Coihaique, Llanquihue, Magallanes, Malleco, Ñuble, Osorno, Palena, and Valdivia Provinces.
