Gnaspini, 1996: 539 (holotype seen [Note: Aedeagus and genital segment miss-ing—see Note under Gnaspini & Peck, 2019, below]); Gnaspini & Peck, 2001: 429 (tentative assignment to group ascutellaris); Salgado, 2010c: 214 (assignment to group capitanea); Gnaspini & Peck, 2019: 10, 14 (holotype seen [Note: Aedeagus and genital segment missing—we recently learned that there is a glass slide with the male genitalia of this type specimen studied by R. Jeannel and kept separate at the MNHN collection (Michel Perreau, 2019, personal comm.); see Note under MNHN, in ‘Construction and Organization of the Catalog’ and also in Gnaspini & Peck, 2019]; assignment back to group; and tentatively to subgroup).

Holotype male [a single specimen in original description, assumed as holotype] in MNHN.

Type locality: Blumenau, Santa Catarina State, Brazil.

Distribution: Brazil: Santa Catarina State: known only from type locality.
