Type locality: 11 – 23 km E Calarcá, Quindío Department, Colombia.
Distribution: Colombia: Quindío Department; Ecuador: Cotopaxi ( ecuatoriana ) and Pichincha Provinces.
= A. ecuatoriana Salgado, 2003a: 122, 2008b: 219 View in CoL syn. Holotype male in QCAZ. Type locality: Otonga, 00º25’ S 79º00’ W, 2000 m, San Francisco de las Pampas, Cotopaxi Province, Ecuador.
